Families in the Bentonville community came together for a joyful Chinese cultural immersion event celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival through art, creativity, and hands-on experiences.
Children showcased their artwork inspired by Chinese cultural elements such as traditional opera masks, water towns, pandas, mythology, and folk patterns—sharing their unique perspectives on Chinese culture. Interactive cultural Q&A activities invited families to learn the stories and traditions behind the art.
Participants also enjoyed a simulated batik art workshop, creating their own designs inspired by traditional Chinese craftsmanship, as well as a Snow Skin Mooncake DIY activity, where children and parents worked together to experience the festival’s spirit of reunion and togetherness.
Through art, interaction, and cultural storytelling, this event connected families with Chinese traditions in a warm, engaging, and memorable way—strengthening cultural exchange within the local community.
